Victoria Winters, M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, Pre-Licensure for RPT & LPCMH
I believe that everyone has a unique story to share and a desire to understand themselves. It is through understanding ourselves that we can continually turn the pages in the book of our life. Six years into my corporate marketing career, I realized it was time to close that chapter and begin a new one. This led me to return to school at Immaculata University, where I obtained my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is critical to the success of our work together. As a first-generation Italian American, I bring a culturally sensitive approach, understanding that it is where we’ve come from that shapes who we are and how we view the world. With a little humor, compassion, and creative therapy techniques, I am prepared to meet each client where they are. I approach counseling from a person-centered perspective and utilize existential, cognitive behavioral, and play therapy techniques. I am here to help you navigate all the chapters in the book of your life.
I work with children ages 3-11 (under 11 utilizing child-centered play therapy), pre-teens, teens, and young adults. The presenting problems I offer clinical support for are anxiety, depression, dating, breakups, career counseling, life transitions, navigating toxic and/or high pressure corporate work environments, as well as assisting clients to build self-worth, self-confidence, and self-esteem.
